OMM Quick Release Mounted Front Rack Installation Instructions

This rack is designed to mount on the outside of your bike's axle dropouts and fasten using our included longer quick-release skewer. The stock application mounts to the V-brake bosses over top of the V-brakes themselves. For bikes with no brake bosses or road caliper brakes we recommend using additional band clamps which will go around the fork legs.

Remove your existing brake bolts. These hold the brake arm onto the fork (do not remove or alter your brake arms or pads).

Use supplied 20mm bolts (these bolts may replace the original brake bolts) to bolt the angled brackets onto the brake studs over the brake arms. The angle brackets will stick up above the bosses and brakes with the tab outboard from the wheel.

Use 16mm bolts to attach the extender bar to the outside of the angled bracket using the single hole side leaving the slotted end to match up with the rack sidebar.

Now remove the quick release and place the rack over the axle dropouts. Insert the supplied quick-release skewer and, once the rack is level, tighten the skewer. With the remaining 16mm bolts, attach the extender bar to the slot in the rack (see picture).
