OMM Eyelet Mounting Rear Rack Installation Instructions

This rack is designed to mount on traditional rack eyelets located close to the rear axle of the bicycle frame. The stock application mounts to the V-brake bosses over top of the V-brakes themselves. For bikes with no brake bosses or road caliper brakes we recommend using additional band clamps for the seat stays.

Remove your existing brake bolts. These hold the brake arm onto the frame (do not remove or alter your brake arms or pads).

Use supplied 20mm bolts to bolt the angled brackets onto the brake studs (these bolts may replace the original brake bolts). The angle brackets will stick up above the bosses and brakes with the tab outboard from the wheel.

Use 16mm bolts to attach the extender bar to the outside of the angled bracket using the single hole side leaving the slotted end to match up with the rack sidebar.

Use the M5 x 16 bolts to attach the rack to the eyelets. Position the rack to level. Use the remaining 16mm bolts to attach the extender bar to the slot in the rack.

Double check all hardware and the installation is complete.
